At UK Tyres, we do a lot more than supply and fit new tyres to keep you on the road. Our team of skilled mechanics can also help with an extensive range of your car servicing and car repair requirements.
We’re an established local family-run business now into our third generation of looking after the motoring needs of customers in our part of London. In that time, we’ve built up a strong reputation as a reliable team that offers a first-class service at a competitive price, and is committed to getting it right first time, every time.

Why Should I Get My Vehicle Serviced?
There are many reasons for having your vehicle serviced regularly – these include:
Your safety
Regular servicing is likely to pick up on developing faults or wear and tear of essential components like your brakes, suspension and mounting points. Along with your MOT, it’s one of the best ways of making sure your vehicle is in a fit condition to be on the road.
Maintaining its value
if you want to sell your vehicle at any point, you’re likely to be able to get a better price for it if you can demonstrate that it’s been well looked after, with a full-service history.
Saving money
identifying and fixing a developing problem is likely to be considerably cheaper than sorting out a major breakdown. For instance, topping up and changing your engine oil doesn’t cost much, but if your engine seizes it could cost thousands to put right. Meanwhile, other actions carried out during a service make your engine run more efficiently, potentially lowering your fuel consumption.
How Often Should I Service My Car?
Ideally, you should be looking to have your car serviced at least once a year, although this could be more often if you are driving a lot of miles – the rule of thumb is that you should be getting it done annually or every 8,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Why Are We A Better Choice For Servicing Than A Car Dealership?
It is possible to get your vehicle serviced at the manufacturer’s local dealership – it may even be recommended in your manual – but you’ll find that you’ll end up paying a lot more than you would with an independent garage such as UK Tyres.
We don’t specialise in any particular make or model – we do them all! We’ll still make sure that we use only the parts and fluids recommended by your vehicle manufacturer, but for a fraction of the price. We’ll also complete your service schedule so you can demonstrate that the right parts have been used and that the work has been carried out by a professional mechanic. That will be especially helpful if your vehicle is still under warranty.
